What a weekend! I haven’t been sleeping right since Thursday! Watched the new James Bond movie “Casino Royale” last Thursday then stayed at some friends’ house and we chatted until 7-ish in the morning before sleeping! Woke up at 1.30 am and headed back towards St. Peter’s Court but before I could get back, take a shower and sleep on my cosy double size bed, I met I and H on their way to city. And yes, I’ve been abducted and brain-washed into joining them in their quest to find sushis.
We arrive at the Victoria Center around 3 pm and decided to roam around as the ‘Skinny Sumo’ opens up at 6. We walked and shopped for some stuff and found out that there’s a Malaysia restaurant in the city. Guess I’ll try it out next time when I have cravings for home food. Nottingham is a really nice city to walk around, it’s beautiful and there are lots of different stuffs to feast your eyes on. The shoes and clothes are so much nicer and they have a wider variety then back home. Well, from my point of view that is since I can’t get much clothing and shoes my size in Malaysia.
After a few hours of window shopping, we met K, F and some of their friends checking out the new small shops erected for Christmas (I think) so we end up going to the Skinny Sumo with more people then expected and the saying “the more the merrier” applies in this situation so we had tons of laughter. I had Japanese noodle that time and it was awesome! I headed back to my sweet room successfully this time after the meal and bathed. I didn’t know showering can be soo indulging when time timing is right! As it’s a Friday night and there’s nothing to do, some friends come over to my place to hang out and watched ‘Man on Fire’. What a movie!
We slept and woke up around 1 pm and decided to cook Nasi Lemak for lunch and guess who’s in charge of making the sambal? Haha I make the hottest sambal around and I guess I did overdose it with lots of chilies and its soo freaking hot! Just the way I like it! Unluckily, some of my friends didn’t fancy extra hot sambal so I guess I didn’t do a great job after all but it’s worth it for me :p we when to our rooms and decided to watch another movie that night which was the Saturday night and this time our numbers were double the previous night. We watched ‘Army of Darkness’ and I can say it’s a good movie when I was small but it’s kinda lame now but still entertaining though.
Apart from watching movies, we eat a lot! We had lots of grilled chickens and pizzas that night! My place was in a mess when they went back! It was tiring but it was sooooooooo much fun! Next time I’m going to have new bad-ass speakers and going to invite more people to join the movie night. Damd! I’m loving this!
