Things we take for granted

In my short 23 years of life, I’ve learn something important. The world does not revolve around you. You revolve around the world. Whether you know it or not things are happening. There are a lot of things we don’t know about the world and instead of being ignorant we should open our eyes more. I’ll just take a small example that we can relate, music. We all know most English chart topper but we (maybe not you but I’m for certain) don’t know much about songs in other languages. Sure we do know a few but if you look around you’ll find more diamonds than in a Tiffany and Co. shop! The example is the song below. It might not you taste but its mine I think it’s so good even when I don’t understand a word in it.

Friend or Foe?

Last night I have a long talk with some of my friends about how people can change. In my short life, I’ve seen people transform from best friends to worst enemies. Well, I was exaggerating but I saw friends become enemies. I’m not talking about one or two cases, I’m talking about loads of stories. I seriously don’t know why things like that happen. Have any of you guys encountered the same situation?

I think I have a few inferences about this problem, and yes it is a problem even if you don’t agree. It’s like a cancer, it attack your heart and if you don’t do something about it, you’ll be angry all the time, restless and unhappy. I’m not saying my views are correct but I think some of the problems are:

1. Principles or beliefs. As you get older, you develop principles. I always though that my granddad and my mum are person who have very strong principles and I never thought I was one until recently I found out that principles are very prominent in my life. Based on that, I assume that people fight because they develop different principles as they grow which clashes with each other.

2. Ego. As we get older, our ego becomes bigger. Some people tend to think their better than other people and some might feel their ego is being challenge. As basic animal instinct kicks in, the person might get defensive or choose to use offences methods to boost back his or her ego. The process of hurting someone’s ego might be obvious but in most cases, it’s unnoticeable until it’s too late.

3. You always hurt the one you love the most. I ‘m fascinated about this quote. When people are so close to each other, there is where when everything seems to be wrong. This also happens with love. People see each other so much they become annoyed with each other. It cant be explain but I does happen if you look around you.

When there is problem, people will find solutions. Some people try to reason out with the other. One might just cut off them from their life and the most dangerous would be playing the vendetta card. I don’t know which the right solution is as each case is different and so is each person.

I’m just curious on why human behave like that. Any comments?
