The music industry in Malaysia is going to change and it’s about time. Indie bands and singer-songwriters are being thrown in the mainstream. Bands like Hujan, Meet Uncle Hussin, Bunkface to name a few bands who catapult to stardom along with the trend. Singer-songwriters like Yuna and Zee Avi are getting public attention and you can hear their songs playing in major radio stations.
I know of this new singer-songwriter that would probably be as big. Just listen for yourself. Her name is Aiqa Halim.
